BY TRAIN From Schiphol Airport trains to Amsterdam Central Station run every few minutes.
Exit the Central Station (CS) and stick to the right hand side. Take tram 13 or 17 (direction Geuzenveld / Osdorp Dijkgraafsplein). Get off at the third stop, “Westermarkt”. The hotel is a 2 minutes walk away (click here for directions). If you wish you may also walk from the Central Station to the hotel, this will take about 15-20 minutes (click here for directions)
BY SHUTTLE BUS (45 minutes):
You could also take the Schiphol Connexxion Shuttle bus, which is €17,50 per person for a one way ticket (return ticket is € 27.00). Please note it will take about 45 minutes to an hour, since it will pass other hotels in Amsterdam as well and therefore takes more time to arrive at our hotel. In case you are with more than 3 persons, we advise taking a taxi.
The shuttle bus service is available between 06:00 and 21:00. There is one bus leaving approximate every 15 minutes. The maximum waiting time is 30 minutes.
Tickets are available at the Tourist Information desk and the Conexxion desk at Schiphol Plaza close to arrival hall 4. One way tickets are also available in the bus.
The bus departs from platform A7 at the front of the departure hal.
If you would like to depart The Toren by shuttlebus, please inform our front desk one day in advance. They will inform the shuttle company about your desired pick-up time.
In case you are travelling with more than 3 persons or you have heavy or extra luggage, we advise you to take a taxi. Please be advised to take a taxi only from the official taxi stand. The taxi will cost approximately 50 euros, depending on the time of day, traffic conditions and amount of luggage.Taxi’s in Amsterdam should run the meter however before entering the taxi we advise our guests to ask the average price to make sure that it is within the correct range.
We strongly advise you to always take notice of the taxi number or licence plate number. Should you forget something in the taxi or should there be a dispute about the fare, it will be easier to trace the driver.
In general parking space is limited in Amsterdam and very expensive. Also near the hotel, along the canal, between 09.00 and 00.00 a parking fee applies, and all visitors are required to buy a ticket. Strict policies apply when controllers find cars without a ticket. As Amsterdam is best explored by foot, bike, boat or tram, you will probably not need your car during your stay.
There are various options for parking your car during your stay at The Toren:

Take tram number 14, which stops in front of the P&R garage. Exit at “Westermarkt” tram stop, from which it is a 2 minute walk to the hotel. The tram journey is about 20 minutes.

Directions by car
The route description from the Ring (A10) Amsterdam is as follows: Follow the signs to Amsterdam and on the “Ring Amsterdam” A10 take exit S 105. Follow the signs, which say “Centrum” until you reach the Rozengracht. Stay on this road until you have the Westerchurch on your left hand side. Pass the Westerchurch, pass the bridge and go left. You are now on the Keizersgracht. The hotel is on the other side of the canal (you can see the black awnings). Turn left over the second bridge. Then turn left again and drive up to number 164!
