About Us

The Toren Hotel (4 *) is a unique boutique hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel has recently been taken over by the new The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts chain, resulting in new management in the hotel. Thanks to the size of our hotel, our well-trained team always manages to surprise the guest with a highly personalized service. We offer our guests the right balance between informal and professional service, because we understand the guest and his / her needs very well. Our team goes beyond the individual departments, we help each other where necessary to provide the best possible service.

What are you going to do?

We are looking for a part-time or full-time Financial administrative employee who supports the accounting of The Toren Hotel.

Your activities will include:

  • Checking cash reports

  • Drafting, checking and processing cash payments and / or bank statements

  • Carry out correction entries

  • Monitor debtors and creditors

  • Checking, booking and paying purchase invoices

The Ideal Candidate

You are meticulous and accurate, a good team player and you enjoy working in an international, hospitable environment. You are energetic and proactive, and do everything to get your work done on time. You have an affinity with automated systems and you are an expert in finding and solving financial issues. You have recently completed a relevant financial education (MBO / HBO). You have experience in the financial sector, and you live in (or in the vicinity of) Amsterdam. Furthermore, you recognize the following properties:

  • Analytical and with an eye-for-detail

  • Structured and accurate

  • Proactive

  • You speak English and Dutch

  • Communicative strong and reliable

  • Knowledge of financial systems

  • Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures

  • Experience with MS-Office software (especially Excel)

  • Affinity and / or experience with HR processes is an advantage

  • Relevant experience is an advantage
